Hearts in Cardboard: A Jubilee Full of Love
Gilde Opleidingen is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Bureau Tint was asked to support the development of a concept to highlight this milestone in a positive way. Drawing from the brand story of Gilde Opleidingen, we started working on this together.
Now for the real work!
Gilde Opleidingen believes in #hetechtewerk – real, hands-on work. What students learn at Gilde Opleidingen can be applied directly in practice. #hetechtewerk also forms the foundation of the relationships Gilde Opleidingen builds with its students, partners, and staff. This philosophy became the basis for the anniversary concept:
‘25 Years of Heart for You’.
One of the key elements of the celebration was a special initiative for students. The idea was to have students translate their love for the profession they’re studying into an act of love for someone else. Who do you care about? Who would you like to surprise – and why? And how could you make that happen yourself?
This led to a beautiful initiative where we challenged students to surprise someone and fulfill a heartfelt wish. We developed a full campaign to inspire students to reflect on their heart's desire for someone else – complete with video, an online landing page, and a sign-up form.
Gilde Opleidingen placed a large cardboard heart in each of its locations. Together with Shop Direct, we brought the concept to life using a multi-layered, sturdy reboard cardboard heart. The collaboration with Shop Direct was excellent – communication was quick and efficient, allowing us to act swiftly and make clear agreements, even regarding shipping logistics, which posed some challenges. In the end, everything went smoothly.
The result: a successful student campaign in which nearly 50 heartfelt wishes were fulfilled – from a bouquet for a neighbor, to a photoshoot with a sick fellow student, or a cozy lunch for residents of a care home. The outcome: overwhelming responses and beautiful stories! A special realization of a unique concept – and a happy client. I’m proud to say it was a very successful project that we were able to bring to life together with Shop Direct.”
