How can you create the most sustainable display? Here are our top tips.

Don'ts

PAPER AND CARDBOARD WITHOUT CERTIFICATION
Paper and cardboard without certification are not sustainable. Their origin is unclear, as is how they are sourced and processed.

CONVENTIONAL INKS
Conventional inks contain oil-based materials and are not biodegradable—making them an unsustainable choice.

UV COATING
UV coating gives printed materials an attractive finish. However, it requires a special UV curing process with lamps, leading to higher energy consumption.

LAMINATE
Laminate is a PE film that cannot be recycled. When laminated paper is disposed of in the paper bin, it disrupts the recycling process for paper and cardboard, as the film does not separate. The plastic in laminate is not biodegradable and ends up polluting the environment.

PLASTIC
If you use materials other than cardboard in your display, it will no longer be fully recyclable and, therefore, less environmentally friendly.

Do's

FSC® AND PEFC CERTIFIED
We use raw materials from responsibly managed forests, where the habitats of plants and animals are protected, and the rights of local communities and forest workers are respected. The cardboard and paper used in our displays can be recycled up to five times.

BIO-INKS
Our production process includes solvent-free printing inks, also known as bio-inks. These inks better meet sustainability criteria since their raw materials—plant-based oils—are infinitely renewable.

MIGRATION-FREE COATINGS
Opt for an environmentally friendly coating—these are water-based and biodegradable.

DOUBLE DISPERSION COATING
Dispersion coating is an excellent alternative to laminate. It gives printed materials a brilliant finish while being much more eco-friendly, biodegradable, and fully recyclable in the paper bin.

100% CARDBOARD
Choose a display made entirely of cardboard. Paper and cardboard are eco-friendly and biodegradable materials, ensuring that your entire display is 100% recyclable.
